Sliver Formation
Slivers from cards and draw frames form the basis for downstream processing to produce yarn and eventually the finished product.
| Material feed |

Material is supplied from a cleaning or opening line to a card group pneumatically via pipes. Ventilators and condensers take over the job of transporting the material here.
Special distributors and change boxes integrated into the pipes are used to distribute the material, whether cotton or manmade fibres. |
| Card TC 03 |
| TheCard TC 03 is the logical development of the highly successful DK 903 card. More than 10,000 cards DK 903 have been installed in spinning mills all over the world from 1995 to 2003. |
| |

Only the Trützschler card TC 03 offers:
- Precision Flat Setting System PFS
- Precision Mote Knife Setting System PMS

| Autocoro 360 |
| The new Autocoro generation |
| A Step Ahead |
| The Autocoro 360 is the latest development of Schlafhorst in the sphere of automatic rotor spinning machines. A host of innovations incorporated in the machine offer Autocoro spinners enormous competitive advantages as regards productivity and flexibility of use as well as the quality of yarns and yarn packages. |
| The new Autocoro 360 is a machine with up to 360 spinning positions producing yarn with take-up speeds up to 300 m/ min, thus being the most productive automatic rotor spinning machine world-wide. At user's choice, it can be equipped with 1, 2, 3 or 4 Coromat-units. The new universal spinbox Corobox SE 12 offers a degree of flexibility and high yarn quality never before achieved. The sliver intake (SDSI) is defined with exactitude by a stepper motor in each spinbox. The entire range of yarn counts can be spun from the same sliver. Fancynation, the modular-design hardware and software for the production of fancy/effect yarns is integrated into the Autocoro 360. The new yarn package generation CoroPack stands for greater cost-effectiveness and higher quality. Packages weighing up to 5 kg can be produced with Heavy Weight Package HWP. |
| New productivity potentials |
| The world's most productive automatic rotor spinning machine |
| with 360 spinning positions and take-up speeds up to 300 m/min |
Greater potential for all kinds of application Up to 360 spinning positions and take-up speeds up to 300 m/min means added production potential today for instance, in the spinning of soft knitting yarns or coarse yarns and a wider scope for new developments by fibre producers and in the spinning technology tomorrow, for instance, the possibility of using higher rotor speeds. |
Twelve percent more spinning positions in the same floor space 360 Autocoro spinning positions require the same floor space as machines of other manufacturers with a considerably smaller number of spinning positions, but they offer 13% higher productivity. |

Regulation of spinning vacuum with EVA
| Electronic Vacuum Adjustment EVA |
| For higher productivity and cost saving |
The Suction system of the Autocoro 360 with ist Electronic Vacuum Adjustment EVA for the regulation of the spinning vacuum ensures that the vacuum level is equal and remains constant at each spinbox. The vacuum level is adjusted automatically and remains reliably constant over a long time even in long machines with 360 spinning positions. This enables spinners to set the level of spinning vacuum significantly lower than has been the practice so far. This saves much energy.
- Constant spinning vacuum level
- High productivity even with high yarn breakage rates
- Energy savings
- Reduced labour costs due to the electronic setting and adjustment of parameters and to the fact that cleaning takes only half the time
Optimized spinning stability with EVA Another benefit offered by EVA is that owing to the optimized spinning vacum the yarn breakage rate is reduced significantly. Maximum productivity is ensured even when the spinning stability is lower or the yarn break frequency higher.
Flexible and yet productive even when there are variations in the raw material The Autocoro 360 is the only automatic rotor spinning machine that does not sustain losses in efficiency in case of variations in the raw material or when the spinning vacuum is set too low.
EVA also reduces the operating costs. The individually adjustable filling-level limitation for the dust collecting chambers with automatic filling-level monitor guarantees that the dust collecting chambers are emptied at the appropriate moments. |
New Coromat concept
| New horizons with up to 4 Coromat units |
| Success in opening up new markets |
| The Coromat combines the piecing and package doffing functions in one single unit. Up to 4 Coromat units per machine guarantee higher cost effectiveness and flexibility, even in extremely demanding applications. They offer new scopes and open up new fields of application. Higher yarn break rates a great impediment to high productivity in the past are of less importance with the Autocoro 360. |
The economic benefit of 3 or 4 Coromat units is particularly great:
- In spinning soft, low-twist knitting yarns.
- In spinning yarns from raw materials with a low spinning stability.
- In spinning Highspeed yarns with high rotor speeds.
- In spinning with small-diameter rotors.
- In spinning coarse-count yarns with frequent package doffing and low package weights.
- With frequent yarn lot changes.
- With a high clearer cut incidence, for instance, due to foreign fibre clearing.
